| numbers.c in libxslt before 1.1.43 has a use-after-free because, in nested XPath evaluations, an XPath context node can be modified but never restored. This is related to xsltNumberFormatGetValue, xsltEvalXPathPredicate, xsltEvalXPathStringNs, and xsltComputeSortResultInternal. | ||||
| CVE-2024-12085 | 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more | 29 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 26 more | 2026-02-26 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time. | ||||
| CVE-2025-1009 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-02-26 | 9.8 Critical |
| An attacker could have caused a use-after-free via crafted XSLT data, leading to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 135, Firefox ESR < 115.20, Firefox ESR < 128.7, Thunderbird < 128.7, and Thunderbird < 135. | ||||
| CVE-2024-53263 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2026-02-26 | 8.1 High |
| Git LFS is a Git extension for versioning large files. When Git LFS requests credentials from Git for a remote host, it passes portions of the host's URL to the `git-credential(1)` command without checking for embedded line-ending control characters, and then sends any credentials it receives back from the Git credential helper to the remote host. By inserting URL-encoded control characters such as line feed (LF) or carriage return (CR) characters into the URL, an attacker may be able to retrieve a user's Git credentials. This problem exists in all previous versions and is patched in v3.6.1. All users should upgrade to v3.6.1. There are no workarounds known at this time. | ||||

| libxml2 before 2.12.10 and 2.13.x before 2.13.6 has a stack-based buffer overflow in xmlSnprintfElements in valid.c. To exploit this, DTD validation must occur for an untrusted document or untrusted DTD. NOTE: this is similar to CVE-2017-9047. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0624 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2026-02-26 | 7.6 High |
| A flaw was found in grub2. During the network boot process, when trying to search for the configuration file, grub copies data from a user controlled environment variable into an internal buffer using the grub_strcpy() function. During this step, it fails to consider the environment variable length when allocating the internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. If correctly exploited, this issue may result in remote code execution through the same network segment grub is searching for the boot information, which can be used to by-pass secure boot protections. | ||||
| CVE-2025-3030 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-02-26 | 8.1 High |

| An attacker was able to perform an out-of-bounds read or write on a JavaScript object by confusing array index sizes. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 138.0.4, Firefox ESR < 128.10.1, Firefox ESR < 115.23.1, Thunderbird < 128.10.2, and Thunderbird < 138.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2025-2817 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-02-26 | 8.8 High |
| Thunderbird's update mechanism allowed a medium-integrity user process to interfere with the SYSTEM-level updater by manipulating the file-locking behavior. By injecting code into the user-privileged process, an attacker could bypass intended access controls, allowing SYSTEM-level file operations on paths controlled by a non-privileged user and enabling privilege escalation. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 138, Firefox ESR < 128.10, Firefox ESR < 115.23, Thunderbird < 138, and Thunderbird < 128.10. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5264 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 7 Firefox, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2026-02-26 | 4.8 Medium |
| Due to insufficient escaping of the newline character in the “Copy as cURL” feature, an attacker could trick a user into using this command, potentially leading to local code execution on the user's system. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 139, Firefox ESR < 115.24, Firefox ESR < 128.11, Thunderbird < 139, and Thunderbird < 128.11. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5987 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 6 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-02-26 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in libssh when using the ChaCha20 cipher with the OpenSSL library. If an attacker manages to exhaust the heap space, this error is not detected and may lead to libssh using a partially initialized cipher context. This occurs because the OpenSSL error code returned aliases with the SSH_OK code, resulting in libssh not properly detecting the error returned by the OpenSSL library. This issue can lead to undefined behavior, including compromised data confidentiality and integrity or crashes. | ||||

Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 139, Firefox ESR < 128.11, Thunderbird < 139, and Thunderbird < 128.11. | ||||
| CVE-2025-4517 | 2 Python, Redhat | 7 Cpython, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2026-02-26 | 9.4 Critical |
| Allows arbitrary filesystem writes outside the extraction directory during extraction with filter="data". You are affected by this vulnerability if using the tarfile module to extract untrusted tar archives using TarFile.extractall() or TarFile.extract() using the filter= parameter with a value of "data" or "tar". See the tarfile extraction filters documentation https://docs.python.org/3/library/tarfile.html#tarfile-extraction-filter for more information. Note that for Python 3.14 or later the default value of filter= changed from "no filtering" to `"data", so if you are relying on this new default behavior then your usage is also affected. Note that none of these vulnerabilities significantly affect the installation of source distributions which are tar archives as source distributions already allow arbitrary code execution during the build process. However when evaluating source distributions it's important to avoid installing source distributions with suspicious links. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6019 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2026-02-26 | 7 High |
| A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability was found in libblockdev. Generally, the "allow_active" setting in Polkit permits a physically present user to take certain actions based on the session type. Due to the way libblockdev interacts with the udisks daemon, an "allow_active" user on a system may be able escalate to full root privileges on the target host. Normally, udisks mounts user-provided filesystem images with security flags like nosuid and nodev to prevent privilege escalation. However, a local attacker can create a specially crafted XFS image containing a SUID-root shell, then trick udisks into resizing it. This mounts their malicious filesystem with root privileges, allowing them to execute their SUID-root shell and gain complete control of the system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-8941 | 1 Redhat | 13 Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation, Discovery and 10 more | 2026-02-26 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in linux-pam. The pam_namespace module may improperly handle user-controlled paths, allowing local users to exploit symlink attacks and race conditions to elevate their privileges to root. This CVE provides a "complete" fix for CVE-2025-6020. | ||||
