| CVE-2023-39949 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.9.1 and 2.6.5, improper validation of sequence numbers may lead to remotely reachable assertion failure. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.9.1 and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39947 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2025-02-13 | 8.2 High |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, even after the fix at commit 3492270, malformed `PID_PROPERTY_LIST` parameters cause heap overflow at a different program counter. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39946 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2025-02-13 | 8.2 High |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, heap can be overflowed by providing a PID_PROPERTY_LIST parameter that contains a CDR string with length larger than the size of actual content. In `eprosima::fastdds::dds::ParameterPropertyList_t::push_back_helper`, `memcpy` is called to first copy the octet'ized length and then to copy the data into `properties_.data`. At the second memcpy, both `data` and `size` can be controlled by anyone that sends the CDR string to the discovery multicast port. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39945 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2025-02-13 | 8.2 High |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5, a data submessage sent to PDP port raises unhandled `BadParamException` in fastcdr, which in turn crashes fastdds. Versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39534 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.10.0, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5, a malformed GAP submessage can trigger assertion failure, crashing FastDDS. Version 2.10.0, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39355 | 2 Debian, Freerdp | 2 Debian Linux, Freerdp | 2025-02-13 | 7 High |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Versions of FreeRDP on the 3.x release branch before beta3 are subject to a Use-After-Free in processing `RDPGFX_CMDID_RESETGRAPHICS` packets. If `context->maxPlaneSize` is 0, `context->planesBuffer` will be freed. However, without updating `context->planesBuffer`, this leads to a Use-After-Free exploit vector. In most environments this should only result in a crash. This issue has been addressed in version 3.0.0-beta3 and users of the beta 3.x releases are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3863 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-02-13 | 6.4 Medium |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in nfc_llcp_find_local in net/nfc/llcp_core.c in NFC in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a local user with special privileges to impact a kernel information leak issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-37211 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
| Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 114, Firefox ESR 102.12, and Thunderbird 102.12. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 115, Firefox ESR < 102.13, and Thunderbird < 102.13. | ||||
| CVE-2023-37207 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
| A website could have obscured the fullscreen notification by using a URL with a scheme handled by an external program, such as a mailto URL. This could have led to user confusion and possible spoofing attacks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 115, Firefox ESR < 102.13, and Thunderbird < 102.13. | ||||
| CVE-2023-37202 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
| Cross-compartment wrappers wrapping a scripted proxy could have caused objects from other compartments to be stored in the main compartment resulting in a use-after-free. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 115, Firefox ESR < 102.13, and Thunderbird < 102.13. | ||||
| CVE-2023-37201 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |

| CVE-2023-36823 | 2 Debian, Sanitize Project | 2 Debian Linux, Sanitize | 2025-02-13 | 7.1 High |
| Sanitize is an allowlist-based HTML and CSS sanitizer. Using carefully crafted input, an attacker may be able to sneak arbitrary HTML and CSS through Sanitize starting with version 3.0.0 and prior to version 6.0.2 when Sanitize is configured to use the built-in "relaxed" config or when using a custom config that allows `style` elements and one or more CSS at-rules. This could result in cross-site scripting or other undesired behavior when the malicious HTML and CSS are rendered in a browser. Sanitize 6.0.2 performs additional escaping of CSS in `style` element content, which fixes this issue. Users who are unable to upgrade can prevent this issue by using a Sanitize config that doesn't allow `style` elements, using a Sanitize config that doesn't allow CSS at-rules, or by manually escaping the character sequence `</` as `<\/` in `style` element content. | ||||
| CVE-2023-36478 | 4 Debian, Eclipse, Jenkins and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Jetty, Jenkins and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Eclipse Jetty provides a web server and servlet container. In versions 11.0.0 through 11.0.15, 10.0.0 through 10.0.15, and 9.0.0 through 9.4.52, an integer overflow in `MetaDataBuilder.checkSize` allows for HTTP/2 HPACK header values to exceed their size limit. `MetaDataBuilder.java` determines if a header name or value exceeds the size limit, and throws an exception if the limit is exceeded. However, when length is very large and huffman is true, the multiplication by 4 in line 295 will overflow, and length will become negative. `(_size+length)` will now be negative, and the check on line 296 will not be triggered. Furthermore, `MetaDataBuilder.checkSize` allows for user-entered HPACK header value sizes to be negative, potentially leading to a very large buffer allocation later on when the user-entered size is multiplied by 2. This means that if a user provides a negative length value (or, more precisely, a length value which, when multiplied by the 4/3 fudge factor, is negative), and this length value is a very large positive number when multiplied by 2, then the user can cause a very large buffer to be allocated on the server. Users of HTTP/2 can be impacted by a remote denial of service attack. The issue has been fixed in versions 11.0.16, 10.0.16, and 9.4.53. There are no known workarounds. | ||||
| CVE-2023-35001 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 12 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.8 High |
| Linux Kernel nftables Out-Of-Bounds Read/Write Vulnerability; nft_byteorder poorly handled vm register contents when CAP_NET_ADMIN is in any user or network namespace | ||||
| CVE-2023-34241 | 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| OpenPrinting CUPS is a standards-based, open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to version 2.4.6, CUPS logs data of free memory to the logging service AFTER the connection has been closed, when it should have logged the data right before. This is a use-after-free bug that impacts the entire cupsd process. The exact cause of this issue is the function `httpClose(con->http)` being called in `scheduler/client.c`. The problem is that httpClose always, provided its argument is not null, frees the pointer at the end of the call, only for cupsdLogClient to pass the pointer to httpGetHostname. This issue happens in function `cupsdAcceptClient` if LogLevel is warn or higher and in two scenarios: there is a double-lookup for the IP Address (HostNameLookups Double is set in `cupsd.conf`) which fails to resolve, or if CUPS is compiled with TCP wrappers and the connection is refused by rules from `/etc/hosts.allow` and `/etc/hosts.deny`. Version 2.4.6 has a patch for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3422 | 2 Debian, Google | 2 Debian Linux, Chrome | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
| Use after free in Guest View in Google Chrome prior to 114.0.5735.198 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) | ||||
| CVE-2023-32324 | 3 Debian, Openprinting, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Cups, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system. In versions 2.4.2 and prior, a heap buffer overflow vulnerability would allow a remote attacker to launch a denial of service (DoS) attack. A buffer overflow vulnerability in the function `format_log_line` could allow remote attackers to cause a DoS on the affected system. Exploitation of the vulnerability can be triggered when the configuration file `cupsd.conf` sets the value of `loglevel `to `DEBUG`. No known patches or workarounds exist at time of publication. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32307 | 2 Debian, Signalwire | 2 Debian Linux, Sofia-sip | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| Sofia-SIP is an open-source SIP User-Agent library, compliant with the IETF RFC3261 specification. Referring to [GHSA-8599-x7rq-fr54](https://github.com/freeswitch/sofia-sip/security/advisories/GHSA-8599-x7rq-fr54), several other potential heap-over-flow and integer-overflow in stun_parse_attr_error_code and stun_parse_attr_uint32 were found because the lack of attributes length check when Sofia-SIP handles STUN packets. The previous patch of [GHSA-8599-x7rq-fr54](https://github.com/freeswitch/sofia-sip/security/advisories/GHSA-8599-x7rq-fr54) fixed the vulnerability when attr_type did not match the enum value, but there are also vulnerabilities in the handling of other valid cases. The OOB read and integer-overflow made by attacker may lead to crash, high consumption of memory or even other more serious consequences. These issue have been addressed in version 1.13.15. Users are advised to upgrade. | ||||
| CVE-2023-32067 | 5 C-ares, C-ares Project, Debian and 2 more | 10 C-ares, C-ares, Debian Linux and 7 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| c-ares is an asynchronous resolver library. c-ares is vulnerable to denial of service. If a target resolver sends a query, the attacker forges a malformed UDP packet with a length of 0 and returns them to the target resolver. The target resolver erroneously interprets the 0 length as a graceful shutdown of the connection. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.1. | ||||
| CVE-2023-31137 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Maradns | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Maradns | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| MaraDNS is open-source software that implements the Domain Name System (DNS). In version 3.5.0024 and prior, a remotely exploitable integer underflow vulnerability in the DNS packet decompression function allows an attacker to cause a Denial of Service by triggering an abnormal program termination. The vulnerability exists in the `decomp_get_rddata` function within the `Decompress.c` file. When handling a DNS packet with an Answer RR of qtype 16 (TXT record) and any qclass, if the `rdlength` is smaller than `rdata`, the result of the line `Decompress.c:886` is a negative number `len = rdlength - total;`. This value is then passed to the `decomp_append_bytes` function without proper validation, causing the program to attempt to allocate a massive chunk of memory that is impossible to allocate. Consequently, the program exits with an error code of 64, causing a Denial of Service. One proposed fix for this vulnerability is to patch `Decompress.c:887` by breaking `if(len <= 0)`, which has been incorporated in version 3.5.0036 via commit bab062bde40b2ae8a91eecd522e84d8b993bab58. | ||||
